How to cure Covid-19 patient at home?

 

If you're infected with COVID-19 and have been asked to care for yourself at home or if you're a caregiver to someone who has COVID-19 and are caring for them at home, how would you keep everyone safe? 

Covid-19 has kept everything at half for more than two years. We all have been through a tough phase in our life. We even lost our loved ones.   

Though we all are trying to be back on track but the normal is a mountain so far. As the virus returns after a few months with a new name, it is vital for us to always be prepared.

 We need to learn the tactics to deal with the virus while being at home. As going to the hospital even for the minor symptoms is not a sound decision. There are ways in which we can cure ourselves of being at home. 

Things to take care of while treating Covid-19 at home

1. Home oxygen concentrators

The virus has the potential to cause hindrance in our respiratory system. It directly attacks our lungs and makes it tough for us to breathe properly. 

Covid-19 has made us realize that so far we were taking such a precious thing like oxygen for granted. And thus, made us value the importance of home oxygen concentrators. As per the doctors and researchers, they are very effective against omicron as well. 

Home oxygen concentrators will help you in dealing with the situation of emergency. It will save you from the hush rush of hospitals. 

 

2. Take care of the cleanliness of the space

Take a keen attention towards the cleanliness of the space. You need to ensure the hygiene quotient of every things that is in contact with the patient. 

Handle any dishes, cups/glasses, or silverware used by the person who is sick with gloves. Wash them with soap and hot water or in a dishwasher. 

Do not share dishes, cups/glasses, silverware, towels, bedding, or electronics (like a cell phone) with the person who is sick. 

3. Keep mask and sanitizers with you

Just because you are in your room and not going outside for the next two weeks, means that you can avoid utilizing masks or sanitizers. 

Wearing a mask is still imperative as this practice will keep you as well as your family members safe from the spread of virus. 

It may sound simple, but regular and thorough hand washing is one of the best and easiest ways to protect yourself from the virus. 

 

4. Take a healthy diet to keep all nutrient

Take heathy diet so as t ensure that the virus doesn’t make the patient more weak. He/she needs to stay hydrated throughout the day. 

You must take a proper diet as you are prone to fall ill due to the virus. Thus, you need energy to fight this merciless virus. You need to take a protein rich diet. Eat fruits that have iron in them like apples.  

Summary 

The fight against the virus is not yet over, we need to keep our guards on. If possible, have the person who is sick use a separate bedroom and bathroom. If possible, have the person who is sick stay in their own “sick room” or area and away from others. Don’t forget to stay at least 6 feet away from the sick person.
